In case you wonder (probably not, but here goes), this one is not the same as the "Meantime Red Beer" in the 300-book. I emailed Meantime Brewery and asked them about the "retired" Red Beer, and I received a nice reply from Alastair Hook, their brewmaster. He said that the Red Beer is the same as the seasonal raspberry beer sold in Sainsbury's Taste The Difference range, but they only sell it in spring and summer. So I have to wait a bit for that one...

I was unsure how they could justify the price before I tried it, and it is actually really nice. The bottle was at 11.7%, not 12% as listed in the 300-book (where it even says 11.7% on the pictured bottle) and the 500-book.

Reached the magic 100 number after a bit under eight months, whereas I reached 50 in under three months. I find it harder to get hold of the beers now, especially as I for now limit myself to bottles only.
