Achel 8 Blond

The Achel 5 Blond in the 300-book is unfortunately only sold in the monastery itself. This version is a bit stronger, and as I am a big fan of Trappist beers, it will have to do until I one day hopefully can visit the monastery to try the 5% version.
  • Name: Achel 8 Blond, 8%, Belgium
  • Appearance: Golden. Enormous amount of thick head. Longlasting. Cloudy at the end.
  • Aroma: Flowery. Hops. Fruit. Honey.
  • Taste: Fruit and hops. Fresh. Warming.
  • Bought: Beers of Europe, 330 ml, £1.85
  • Overall score: 4/6
