2006 edition: Second Juleøl from the batch ØM brought over. This one brewed by Mack, the northernmost brewery in the world (until 2000).
  • Name: Mack Juleøl 2006, 6.5%, Norway
  • Appearance: Golden dark brown. Little head. Hint of red.
  • Aroma: Pretty malty and fruity. Oaky. Coffee.
  • Taste: Dark fruit and malt. Bitterish, but not too much.
  • Bought: Gift, 330 ml, NOK ?.??

2007 edition: Second Norwegian Juleøl of the season. Also bought by ØM at Vinmonopolet, Tromsø.
  • Name: Mack Juleøl 2007, 6.5%, Norway
  • Appearance: Dark redish brown. Nice amount of head, shortlived.
  • Aroma: Dark fruit, some malt. Burnt caramel?
  • Taste: Burnt caramel, malt and dark fruit. Smooth.
  • Bought: Vinmonopolet, 330 ml, NOK 27.20

  • Aroma: Good malt, some fruit.
