Lindesnes Pils

  • Name: Lindesnes Pils, 4.7%, Norway
  • Appearance: Opened with a huge fizz. Golden, hazy. Huge amount of white head.
  • Aroma: Light malt, vegetables. Some fruits.
  • Taste: Light malt, light hops. Some grains. Partly unpleasant. Not great.
  • Bought: Trade with Cunningham - thanks, 250 ml sample
  • Score: 2.1 (Aroma 4/10, Appearance 2/5, Taste 4/10, Palate 2/5, Overall 9/20)

Lindesnes Juleøl (6.5%)

  • Name: Lindesnes Juleøl (6.5%), 6.5%, Norway
  • Appearance: Dark brown, clear. Very slight light tan head.
  • Aroma: Dark fruit, prunes, some dark malt.
  • Taste: Lots of dark fruit, maybe too much. Slight spices. Some dark malt.
  • Bought: Courtesy of ØSM - thanks!, 500 ml
  • Score: 3.3 (Aroma 6/10, Appearance 3/5, Taste 7/10, Palate 4/5, Overall 13/20)
