My first ever unblended lambic!
- Name: Cantillon Iris 2007, 6%, Belgium
- Appearance: Light amber. Clear, but some sediments left in the bottle. Shortlived, fizzy off-white head.
- Aroma: Sour. Wet wood. Some fruits hiding behind the sourness as well.
- Taste: What is happening to me? This is the first gueuze/lambic that I don't find revolting. More of the same sourness, but less than other lambics. Ever so slight fruits. Sour aftertaste, but not too bad.
- Bought: Au Grain d'Orge, 750 ml, CHF 12.60
- Overall score: 3/6
- Info: 16/12-2011, 44/100, 40/300M
