- Appearance: Flip-top bottle. Hazy amber, quite a bit of off-white head.
- Aroma: Hops, light tart fruits, herbs.
- Taste: Hops, malt, herbs. Fruits, slight tartness, but less than most BFM beers. Some tea, but not lots of it.

- Appearance: Very dark brown, almost black. Minuscule dark tan head.
- Aroma: Dark malt, roasted, coffee.
- Taste: Dark malt, coffee, burnt. Then the oak/barrel kicks in that I feel overshadows everything else a bit.
