Burgdorfer Aemme

  • Appearance: Red-ish brown, clear. Just a little bit of off-white head.
  • Aroma: Malt, caramel, slightly roasted. Quite nice.
  • Taste: More malt, slight fruit. Caramel, roasted. It grows on you...

Trois Dames Ale de Noël [Winter Ale]

  • Name: Trois Dames Ale de Noël [Winter Ale], 7.2%, Switzerland
  • Appearance: Dark dark brown, hint of red. Some tan head.
  • Aroma: Prunes, cinnamon, chocolate. Christmas.
  • Taste: Chocolate, malt, slight coffee, more spices. Again, tastes like Christmas. Hides the alcohol well.
  • Bought: Gruyeres shop, 330 ml, CHF 4.50
